- Presently working as Researcher and Evaluation Professional with national level voluntary organisation in India.
Recently completed a full time course on “Bridging the Research-Policy Divide", An AusAID ALA Fellowship Programme at Australian National University, Canberra, supported by AusAID and GECAFS-UK. The programme intends to develop the researcher’s capacity in policy research area to improve policy responses in South Asia Region.
Have more than 12 years of working experience with Government, International and National Organisations like SIFPSA-Govt Agency, Oxfam Novib-Netherlands, Australian National University-Australia, Centre for Ecology and Hydrology of Natural Environmental Research Council-UK, GECAFS International Project Office-UK, Asia Pacific Network for Global Change Research-Japan, IIASA-Austria, DFID, WINROCK International-New Delhi, SEEDS-New Delhi, NWCF-Nepal, INTRAH / PRIME-II -New Delhi, etc. Work experience is related to major developmental issues like: Climatic Change and Adaptation, Disaster Risk Reduction, Poverty Reduction, Food Security, Sustainable Agriculture and Organic Farming, Local Self Governance Issues, Gender & Women Empowerment, Health Issues ( Like HIV / AIDS/ STIs, RCH ) , Community Based Institutions. I enjoy jobs & responsibilities like overall programme management, networking and policy advocacy, researches and studies, monitoring and evaluation (both internal and external), documentation, writing articles and papers etc. Presently, I also moderating an e-group namely –AgriConcern, founded by Gorakhpur Environmental Action Group, India.
