- About Me:
- I am a writer. I have been professionally writing for the past five years. I have poetry published and am about to publish my first book, this summer.
I also am a costume designer and have been doing this for the past 35 years. I love to write about historical subject matter and that is when my costume history comes in quite well.
Look for my trilogy this summer: Karena, Eagle Child; Karena, Eagle Maiden; and Karena, Eagle Medicine Woman.

The Earth Day Poem
Earth Day is April 22, 2008, Please do your part to conserve and help to save our planet, Earth!
Earth Day is approaching. It is a day to celebrate our planet and to do our part to conserve resources and save endangered species. If each human being vowed to take part in this mission, in just a few short years
we would see a huge change:
"The Earth Day Poem"

Our forests are dying,
Our lakes are drying,
Mother Earth is crying,
and we must start trying!
Trying to save our Earth
giving back what it's worth,
toward a new day of
REBIRTH!!!
Join the millions of people world wide,
to begin to live with pride,
while waste begins to subside,
and conservation is taken in stride.
Use paper, not plastic bags,
Recycle clothing to use as rags,
Re-do, repair, re-dream,
Don't buy new, buy green!
Walk or share a ride,
Conserve water town wide,
read a book, or play a game,
Live in peace without shame.
We must begin today,
there is no time to delay,
Mother Earth is needing you to pray,
On This 2008, Earth Day!
authors notes: I have been asked to speak to elementary students at Jeffrey Elementary School in Madison, CT on Earth Day. This poem is dedicated to all the students and their efforts to make our planet a place to live for generations to come!

Calling beams of moonlit fires
Summoning passions that transpires
Lover''s wishes into golden empires.
Flowing embers of moonlight traces,
capturing light on Goddess faces,
rendering visions of golden laces,
that which time never erases.
Beauty beyond lover''s dreams,

into cosmic symphony screams

So Happy to be here on this site
I am very honored to be a part of such a beautiful networking community. I will have to start really slow. I am on three other sites and have my own website to maintain, not to mention a full time Costume Design profession. I will be more active in a few weeks.

since our mother earth worsened every moment with the activities of their own children......
She will bear all the sorrows......but she can't.....
Nobody wll understand.......
