That is ridiculous! Another reason to support and lobby for REAL recycling laws! It's also a terrible waste of good drinking water. So many countries are praying for water this pure. It shows how unfortunately near-sided Americans can be. :(

Through competing in Miss Earth United States, I have come to understand and partake in environmentalism on a larger scale than I would have had I not become in competition in the first place. SERIOUSLY: Would You Like to Advertise Nationally for $75.00?
Hi! As many of you probably already know, I will be competing this July in the Miss Earth United States pageant, held in Nevada. I have everything paid for except the flight, but unfortunately, I can't pay this on my own! In order to cover my flight fees, I am selling personal and professional ad space in the 2009 pageant program, which will be seen by people from all over the United States! Recently, I was asked to explain the difference between the Miss Earth pageant systems and other pageant competitions, both in the USA and abroad.
