OUR EARTH By Olivia Bradford

The earth was made for you and I
along with the oceans, lands, seas, and sky
why do we want to destroy
something that was made for us to enjoy
our earth is filled with greenhouse gases
it a shame that we as humans don't cover our face with mask
so i ask you recycle your trash, bottles, and cans
the world is now in our hands
it's up to us to take care of her
from our native lands to our reservations
it 's time for us to take a stand
for starters go out in your garden
lay in the grass
look up at the sky
then watch the clouds pass
this is our earth
it's time for a rebirth
our mission is to help change mother earth
there's only one
once again the time has come
for us to maintain her
don't make it blur lets embrace her
for generations to come
this is our world wide nation
this is our earth!!

Would You Change Anything About The World?

Most people think that the world we live in is perfect. Can you honestly say that we do? That we're surrounded by peace and harmony. I think not! The world is place of destructioon. Gas prices go up weekly, our economy is drastically decreasing, and our bills have skyrocketed to no return. You still think that you live in a perfect world! Tell me how you feel about the situation !

I am thinking to encourage everybody I know to ban any sort of plastic and paper and stuff we don't need on earthday. I will absolutely not accept any plastic bags when going shopping from now on, I bought one of those huge durable shopping bags that I am keeping in my car and will use this instead...I can't stand seeing two items per plastic bag when going grocery shopping! I will not take any carry out food and won't use any plastic bottles, silverware and other things. I think this is the least we can do to help the earth. Yesterday, I asked our contractor to recycle all the cardboard boxes and packaging that are left from the kitchen remodel. I have been recycling since I was 7 years old and this is a big part of my household. So I am planning to raise awareness about earthday and encourage people to be more responsible.
What are your plans on that day?

This is a touching poem, and you would hope that when people read it that something would tug at their heart strings and they will be moved to start simple in order to do something big, for the purpose of saving mother earth.

Hey Olivia! Well since we all know earth day is upon us, I plan to make people aware of that fact by spreading the word and by wearing green! People have got to be more environmently friendly, I'm also working on making my page very creative. You have some lovely poems. What's on your agenda this coming Earth Day???

THE MEANING OF LIFE
I believe that God created the earth on his own time for our enjoyment. We should wake everyday thanking Him for something so beautiful, and yet we want to destroy it with ciggerate smoke, and trash overloads, becuase we're to lazy to pick a can or bottle and recycle it. We're to lazy to put out our ciggerates after we smoke them. We rather through them in the trash can made of metal or on the ground and start a fire. Ithink we as people should pay more attention to our actions. OK, Question. What Would You Do If There Was No Earth? A place were we couldn't grow crops on the farm, get fresh water to wash ourselves and our clothes, how would you adjust to having no electricity, or having not enough money to buy food. The Meaning Of Life Means That, we are to live in peace, we're not supose to be fighting over in Iraq killing each other, keeping our American soldiers at war for months at a time. It's not right! We're supose to enjoy the world not burn it down. Lets Make A Change in Today's World!!

While looking at images, i looked at each one and tried to compare and contrast them. in the first set of pictures, the earth seemed calm, and healthy. There were beautiful streams flowing through long high mountians. waterfalls, green grass all around. it was a place were people and animals as well as, the insects would want to live, let alone enjoy. Now on the other hand, there was damage being done to our earth. As far as, building being torn down, deadly gases floating in the air, little water and food supply, for both humans and animals. It just didn't look good. i Have One Question For You. What Did The Earth Even Do To You, For You To Destroy It?
