About Me:
CELEBRATION EARTH IS A LEAD EVENT OF THE CULTURE OF PEACE INITIATIVE

Celebration Earth is a festival for peace that originated on the island of Okinawa, that welcomes global cooperation and participation and seeks to practice the ‘Peace Day, Every Day’ spirit envisioned by the 'Culture of Peace' UN designated Peace Messenger Initiative and embodied by the ‘International Day of Peace.’ Through this joyful series of events, we wish to gift the world a model of international peace and inner peace.
People around the world are increasingly concerned about the impact of war and such environmental calamities as deforestation and global warming. Many feel powerless to do something about it. Celebration Earth offers an avenue of positive action and empowerment and is all inclusive - everyone's invited to participate.
Celebration Earth empowers by providing a framework and connection that can be useful to individuals and the global community. By promoting the positive actions and events of our member organisations and individuals through our the various networks and communities, Celebration Earth enables them to deliver their message to the world.
Celebration Earth Is Free!.No one has to pay to join. We have no budget whatsover. We each create our own activity and call on others in the network to support us. This support can come in many forms; participating, volunteering, promoting, you name it. Having a succefull, high profile group running on no money enables people to see that all you need to succeed is the will. Each of us can make the world a better place - especially with a little help from some friends - please consider Celebration Earth your friend.
JOIN US. ADD YOUR EVENT HERE.Tell us about you peace and environmental work. Lets work together, create a mass of events and activities so others can be inspired to act . Through our actions a snowball will grow.

---------------------------------------------------------

We recognise that to achieve peace, participation of all is necessary. It is not a case of us against them. It is all about being inclusive. To achieve a peaceful world all must be involved and we think that the best way to involve everyone is to draw attention to the one thing that we all need to survive. The Earth. We all need the Earth to survive. And right now that Earth is in danger because of our activities. It's time to recognise the Earth, and to celebrate the life that it provides. Thinking of the Earth above and beyond ourselves will enable us to achieve the peace and planetary harmony that deep down we all desire. Within the Earth and Humanity there lies heaven or hell. It is time for us to make the choice. Do we want war, war, war until we all drop? Or do we want something else?

Celebration Earth is about spreading the messages of peace and earth preservation in ways that are fun, entertaining and inspirational.
