Great American Cleanup

Hillsborough County is located on the west, central coast of Florida and encompasses Tampa. KHCB will be coordinating the Great American Cleanup on a local level. On April 19, 2008 we will have approximately 30 different sites in Hillsborough County where volunteers will meet to pick up any and all litter that they can find within the area. You get to hang out with friends, meet new and like-minded people, and do something fantastic to help the Earth and celebrate Earth Day. Please visit www.khcbonline.org to register! Remember the official dates for Sea Turtle Protection starts May 1st through October 31st - I'm trying to workup a little lesson plan to complete my Pro Literacy certificate, and working out the logistics of becoming involved for filming this project to be shared with global, on-line communities.
