Global cooling

Some people are claiming that the earths climate is cooling. Any one have ant data? The media are publishing readers letters saying effectively that climate change isn't happening. I know it is but where is the data?

I have not heard about the earth's climate cooling - unfortunately changes in climate occur over long periods of time and so it is hard to pinpoint actual data, or causes, hence the on-going debate about whether it is human induced or not. Personally I think that we can all benefit from adopting clean energy and less polluting practices, and if we can reduce the length of duration of the present climactic changes, then all the better for every living being.

In this time of climactic instability, I think it would behoove us all to collaborate to find healthier solutions, surely the outcome is a better quality of life for all. However, I would certainly be interested in hearing of any data out there on a planetary cooling trend!
