New inventions has really forced our society to become lazy. Its very true as you stated, how people know longer walk long distance but has become comfortable with motor vechicles. Society today has become very interested in there apperance and making a fashion statement. They go out and buy cars that require gallons of gas, but aware of how its polluting the earth we live in. people should go back to walking or driving hybrid cars.

The earth has radically changed the most in the past 50 years than it has since its birth over billions of years ago.

There is always the same amount of water on no matter how much you drink or use or no matter how much it rains. The earth’s water process is in constant renewal. The cycle is never broken.

Animals sense things instinctively. Humans on the other hand don’t.

Our earth relies on balance. If the balance is broken, the earth is in danger.

Some species are not futile or harmful

Some species are not futile or harmful

Yes, there are no futile species on the Earth. Everything is linked in our nature, but rapid development of humans breaks the linkage. Massive consumption, I even would say extermination of fish already results an imbalance in the sea fauna. Disappearance of one species causes disappearance of another. The sea fauna imbalance is very dangerous for all inhabitants of the planet. Disappearance of some species might annihilate the main oxygen source- the marine algae.

Extermination of fish is a major problem. Many of the fish in the sea is starting to dissappear because the coral is dying and the fish need coral to survive. Sciectists say that they have never seen anything like it in all the these years. Coral supposedly lived in the sea for billions of years and now the coral is rapidly dying in large areas of the sea without coral there is no living fish, without fish people will starve to death in some countries and so will the animals. The coral is dying from global warming.

Massive consumption of the modern world is strongly unfair- 80% of all natural resources are consumed by just 20% of the world population. 50 more years and almost all of the energy sources [oil, gas, forest, etc] will be depleted. Haiti already faces a big problem- only 2% of forest is left. The lack of the main consumption resource leads Haiti to chaos. Haiti is not only one country which will suffer of lack of natural resources. Massive lack of water is possible in the future. India now faces serious water problems. 30% of 21 million wells are depleted and neglected in India. In Las Vegas, 800 liters of water is consumed by a person daily. The Colorado River, which supplies water to Las Vegas, is depleted and does not disgorge into the sea anymore. In 2030 2 billion people will suffer of lack of water.

Wow so due to the lack of resources in search countries alot of their countries are begining to decline which is bad for human life as we speak

Any time you see a number like "2% remaining", it's cause for concern. Now when it's something as crucial as forest, you're getting into the big time scary category. If you stop to think about all of the functions that a forest fills in a countries ecosystem, it's a wonder as to why it was allowed to dip all the way down to that level.

Even more scary is the estimation that in 2030, 2 billion people will suffer from a lack of water. Considering how much of our planet is covered in obvious water (in a liquid state), it's hard to believe that anyone could suffer from a lack of water. And in contrast, at the rate we're going, other areas will be completely covered by water and moving to higher ground for survival.

Despite the fact that the forests around the world are being destroyed and only "2%" remains, its steady decline will never stop. Forests do make up a large percentage for many countries economic statuses but animals live there to. It's more sad then anything to think about what will happen to the millions of animals that live in forests around the world and what will happen to them if there homes are continuosly detsroyed. The stuff you see in National Geographics magazines and on their shows are just a tiny taste at what it actually is like. Animals die everyday because they wander in the street and get run over. They die because of malnurishment. Their food supply shrinks every time a tree is chopped down or a bush is cut up. We can't forget that humans and animals share this land along with the great forests. They need a home as well.

Your statement is sad but true. Many of people seem to be concerned about the future of the wildlife, but are still not taking the necessary precautions very seriously to avoid disaster. "Everytime a tree is chopped down , the food supply shrinks." Whats worse is global warming. Global warming is the reason for the starvation ,malnurishment and death of these precious creatures. Humans are the reason for the agony and suffering of these animals because humans are the main reason for global warming. although its sad to think about what will happen to the animals in the future, it's even more sad to think about the undeniable reality which is extinction. So if the wildlife becomes extinct, will there be a zoo for the children of the future? The saddest thing is probably that the children are the future, and if the young generatrion is not well educated on the abuse and stress that we humans cause on earth everyday, then there is possibly no hope left for this planet that we know as Earth

Viewing the film was very in lighting to me. I was amazed by many statements that were stated. One I had no idea that there was no new water on earth. That was very important, amazing and educational piece of information to learn. I was also shocked to learn that without the 70% of the gas from our earth our lungs would not be able to survive. It is now good to know why the ocean is salty. While viewing the movie I learned that the rivers tore minerals from the rocks and gradually added them to the fresh waters of the oceans and they became heavy with salt. I always thought that if you planted seeds trees would grow. Now I am more informed. It took 4 billion years to make trees. Yes, we have to do a lot to bring all back. The face of the Earth had impressively changed for last 50 years. The world had divided into two separate “worlds”; where one” world” gets all of the best and another suffer from lack of food and water. Countries with rich natural resources rule the world now, when countries like India suffer from lack of water. The world became so unfair now. As an example I would like to use situation in Nigeria. Nigeria is the biggest oil exporter in Africa. Every year Nigeria government receives huge money from oil export, but most people live rough. Natural resources are cultural heritage and must be used for nation benefits.
