While tool'n down the road today on my little faraway island... I was moved by the sharing of a story by Susan Cooke Kittredge on NPR radio. In her short essay "We All Need Mending" she shared the story of her grandmother, born in 1879 and widowed at 43. The nugets of wisdom in their relationship so perfectly identified how many folks feel about the current state of affairs in the world today.

"Mending something is different from fixing it. Fixing it suggests that evidence of the problem will disappear. I see mending as a preservation of history and a proclamation of hope." -Cook Kittredge

I hope you will find this short story an inspiring message for your day.

PLEASE... comment on your thoughts!

In-joy,
Bruce

Howdy Joyce,

Great songs, beautiful voice and wonderful website. Kudos to you for following your passion! Looks like you are having a lot of fun and helping others in the process... :)

I see you are interested in sustainable living and eco investing... would you consider helping others upgrade their homes to solar energy, thus helping them help the planet? They will save money in the process and there is no financail commitment for you to join me in this grass roots movement. Please take a look at my website: EnergyIndependenceToday.com

Peace,
Bruce
